Alexis Coleby

BA | Mdiv Intern Counsellor

(Woodstock in-person and Virtual Ontario-wide)

Alexis brings a warm, culturally aware approach to counselling, with a heart for helping individuals explore the connection between their emotional well-being, faith, and life experiences. Born and raised in The Bahamas, she brings an appreciation for African-Caribbean culture and the unique ways culture and community can shape how we understand ourselves.

Her goal is to create a supportive space where individuals feel heard, understood, and encouraged as they work toward greater emotional well-being and personal growth.

About Me

Alexis is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counseling at Tyndale University. She is passionate about increasing mental health awareness, particularly within BIPOC and Christian communities, and exploring the intersection of faith, culture, and emotional health.

As she continues developing as a counsellor, Alexis is growing her knowledge of different therapeutic approaches while learning how to support each person with care and understanding.

Outside of counselling and school, Alexis enjoys going to the gym, cooking, listening to music, and connecting with people from different backgrounds and perspectives.
