Faith Laverty

MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist |

For as long as she can remember, Faith has loved listening to others and holding a safe space for people to share their stories. Faith believes that the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship developed between the therapist and the client. Strong rapport creates a safe space to heal and repair attachment wounds formed in childhood.

About Me

Both professionally and personally, Faith believes in life-long-learning! Faith is actively continuing her training through reading about topics like emotionally-focused therapy and parts work.

Faith received her masters in social work from the University of Toronto. She spent five years working with people living with addictions in a community setting before completing her placement during her masters at a mental health hospital also working with people experiencing addiction and PTSD.

In her free time, Faith loves spending time with her husband and two children, and working in the garden. Faith also loves making homemade pickles, singing in the car, and exploring new trails.
