Kelsey was born and raised in small town Saskatchewan. She values community, gathering people together and hearing people’s stories. Kelsey loves to discover what makes each individual unique, and always strives to create a safe space to share.

Kelsey holds a BA in Psychology and a Masters of Counselling. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C) and professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Because of her faith, Kelsey believes that everybody has inherent worth, and that there is always hope. She sees the opportunity to sit with individuals and hear their story is an honour and privilege. She operates from a client-centered, strength-based approach, seeking to collaborate with her clients. Motivational interviewing and narrative therapy are largely utilized in her sessions, and she draws on solution-focused brief therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy as well.

In her free time Kelsey loves spending time with her family and friends, including her wonderful nieces and nephews. She loves spending time outdoors, playing board games, baking, and playing any sport that brings out some healthy competition between her and her husband.
