What is Sex Therapy?
Nearly every client in an intimate relationship will face the challenge of decreased sexual connection. Whether the result of routine family and relationship changes or the distress of life-changing events, sexual rupture is prevalent, and it's pushing people away from each other. Sex therapy aims to help couples revive their physical and emotional intimacy to better their relationship.
Our approach is to take a posture of curiosity to explore what's happening underneath the dissatisfaction or pain through vulnerable sharing. Then, we will collaboratively choose which research-backed exercises (ex. Art therapy, mindfulness, imago therapy, etc) to engage in to restore pleasure and connectedness with one another.
