Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Smiling person with long blonde hair wearing a gray sweater, sitting indoors near a window, with a plant in the background.

I am a dedicated psychotherapist with a deep passion for supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. My areas of focus include substance use, interpersonal challenges, anxiety, and depression, and I am committed to helping clients navigate these struggles with empathy, respect, and a non-judgmental approach.

My experience has shaped my practice in unique ways. I have worked on the front lines of transitional housing and homeless shelters, where I provided counseling and support to individuals facing complex challenges. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the resilience and strength people possess, even in the face of adversity. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a variety of presenting issues during my practicum, which has enriched my ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to the specific needs of each client.

My journey into mental health began when I personally struggled with anxiety. This experience ignited a passion to help others facing similar challenges, and it’s what drives me to provide compassionate, client-centered care. I believe that healing is a deeply personal experience, and I work collaboratively with each individual to identify their goals, fostering a therapeutic space where they can heal in a way that feels right for them.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy going on walks with my partner, dog, and young daughter.. I also cherish time spent at our family cottage up north. When I'm not outdoors, you'll likely find me in the kitchen, where I love to cook and bake.
